We have exciting news! For 2011/20012 program year, we
will be implementing the Family Development Leadership
Credential (FDLC).
The Family Development Leadership Credential (FDLC) encourages
supervisors and leaders of family serving agencies to review and
practice critical skills needed to develop mutually respectful,
empowerment-based relationships with staff, collaborators and
community stakeholders. The total time commit of class and
peer to peer advisement is about 45 hours with time needed to
complete Workplace Empowerment Plans, Independent Learning
Projects, and Leadership Empowerment Plans.
For more information, please click here.
We will begin our first FDLC class on September 8, 2011.
Please review the attached syllabus and complete the attached
FDLC application and submit by the appropriate deadline.
To be accepted in the FDLC class, you must be a supervisor or
hold a leader position at your agency.
Thanks to the support of Maryanne Burger and the Permanency
Practice Initiative, for supporting the implementation of FDC
and now FDLC into our local community.
